After going on a 6 month hiatus, I wanted to take a break from the production side of things & come correct with a set for everyone who has been with me from the start. If you fit in this category then this set will be the highlight of the past 5 years of music. If you've never heard my music before then prepare yourself to be immersed in musical journey that actually has Substance & Soul. I've made sure to put in a serious amount of time and effort, & poured out all of my creativity until this set was flooded with non stop edits and ideas, sure to keep you wondering what's next? "I strike the empire back" is a symbolic title and therefore represents in one sentence the mindset I had while creating this set. The empire represents NYC's Nightlife Industry in it's current state. Having been around long enough to see the transformation of everything; I always try my best to represent the small fraction of artists who still understand what made music, & NYC Nightlife what is was just a few years ago. So, in a way, this set is me "striking back" & once again trying to open the world's eyes as to why talent, persistence, staying humble, and defining your own musical style will always last longer then just bringing numbers to the club. #RealTalk
