One of the most well respected underground foreign DJs in Japan, Dave has held residencies at almost all the major Tokyo clubs - Yellow, Air, Womb & recently Warehouse702. Building on his Bedroom Bedlam UK win in 2002, his 20's saw early tours to South America, Europe, South East Asia & more.

As a keen & prolific event organiser YUK event has received praise from punters, scene leaders & artists alike and his MARIANA project - deep, trippy & detroit techno events inspired by the Mariana Trench & its fearsome creatures - have been gradually picking up steam in a scene saturated by minimal and tech house. Past events have seen MYM book minimal stars like Falko Brocksieper, Oliver Hacke, Mark Henning, Reynold - even Jeff Milligan by a slight chance of fate - plus for the Mariana events Kassem Mosse, Mike Parker, Cio D'Or, Pendle Coven, Delta Funktionen & MLZ.

Dave's net radio shows MYM & Maus Tokyo have featured the likes of Cobblestone Jazz, Peter Van Hoesen, DJ Nobu, Alex Smoke, Ryan Elliott, Dartrixx (aka Fumiya Tanaka & Radiq) & many many more. Dave also has a podcast 'Mariana Dub Sessions' which has received praise from the likes of MLZ from Modern Love & Peter Van Hoesen.

Dave is currently living in the UK after 8 years in Japan, focusing on his deeper side & working on productions for release in 2011 and heart set on a return to the city of his childhood Berlin and Tokyo, to continue the Mariana project...

The full expression of UK-born Dave Twomey`s deep side, TR NCH is both a DJ alter-ego and production moniker. Pushing and pulling the dubby, 4am, bass-heavy, spacey, trippy warehouse-beginnings and influence of Berlin, Detroit & the UK, the Mariana Dub Sessions DJ sets explore techno since its inception - pulsating, throbbing soundscapes also that mirror the darkness & mystery of the the deepest place on earth, the Mariana trench in the Pacific Ocean. The Tr nch DJ set is a deep, ephemeral session of techno drawing on Dave's 20 year electronic music obsession & 12 year DJ career which has seen him travel to Russia, Argentina, China, Chile, Germany, Brasil & more.

The Tr nch DJ set also represents the sound of MARIANA, Dave's Japan-based deep techno event project. Past guests include the likes of Mike Parker, Cio D'Or, Delta Funktionen & Pendle Coven and the MARIANA DUB SESSION podcast, showcasing the Mariana sound, has received praise from the likes of MLZ & Peter Van Hoesen, who even worked on remixing early as yet unreleased Tr nch works. The first Tr nch 12" release is a collaboration with Okinawa's IORI, due this November on TIME TO EXPRESS.
