Coskun Akmeric and Cem Serter aka Gecko Chamber are two producers who are exploring the psychedelic aspects of minimal and progressive electronic music. ‘Locus of Control’ is their debut single from their forthcoming album to be released in Autumn 2011. The track introduces Gecko Chamber’s signatory sound to the world of minimal techno, using layers of heavily processed guitar sounds to create feeling and rhythm while using percussion instruments to develop unique melodic tones

Camea presents Clinkology
Clink Recordings starts their new compilation series titled Clinkology. The first installation showcases label boss, Camea, releasing a unique studio mix of layered loops and edits that she has crafted exclusively from Clink’s catalogue, featuring her own music as well as tracks and remixes by Tim Xavier, Alexi Delano, Cesare vs Disorder, Mikael Stavostrand, Mark Henning and others.
Compiling this collection of music into a 73 minute ballad, Camea guides listeners on a groovy and psychetropic tour through the sounds of her imprint, opening a rare window into the mind of Clink’s curator; who up until now has been a steady force in electronic music. This is Camea’s first musical statement outside of singles and remixes, and she gives her perspective beautifully with an immersive collection of sounds. As expected by her following, she delicately rides an emotional and groovy edge between house and techno, allowing space for melodic and quirky elements; defining what she says is the foundation of “Clinkology”. Cinch (Cam Smith), one half of Canada's Inkwell, debut’s his solo effort “Climax Control” the third EP from the Danksoul Recordings imprint. The EP’s title track “fourtyfive” is a bassline driven skipper that walks a line between minimal and modern house music. Perlon mainstay Dandy Jack remixes “fourtyfive” into a whirlwind of mechanical soul and chopped up vocals, painting a uniquely Dandy signature with Cinch’s captivating sonic story. Cinch rounds off “Climax Control” with “Mow” a heart-wrenching piece that will take listeners on a roller coaster of emotions, ending in a serene and peaceful place that warms the heart.
