Flirt FM Presents Feed Me Weird Things - Iron Crotch Edition 7th March '12
Stay tuned to the end to hear a sexy house mix by Radio F.C. Before that, there's some latin disco boogaloo, a steel band cover of the Jackson 5, Suzanne Ciani's 80's adverts, Prince, Finnish ambient, Sunken Treasure, the wonderful Tieranniesaur, modern jazz, a shout out to roamin and quality indie pop with Field Music. Get 99 Power Practice with this IRON CROTCH!
An on-the-fly mix I did on the bus home last week. It turned out pretty well considering the circumstances. It's mostly on a hip hop/instrumental hip hop tip with little bits of bass, post-dubstep and Dorothy Ashby's jazz harp thrown in for good measure. The bleeped out words in the loftmind track are on it, I would never do such a thing.
Flirt FM Presents Feed Me Weird Things - Steve 90210 Sanders Edition 15th Feb '12
Steve Sanders, played by Ian Ziering, is a character introduced in the first series of the Beverly Hills, 90210 continuity. Steve also made brief guest appearances in early episodes of Melrose Place. Originally a laid-back goofball who didn't mind taking shortcuts to get ahead, Steve matured throughout the series into a more responsibly minded individual. In the process, he retained a good deal of his trademark sense of humor.
This week's show is a tribute to the great Steve Sanders. It features new Burial, Persian psych funk, Irish electronica and post-rock, Scandinavian electro-jazz, modern kosmische, The 2 Bears' positivity and a special guest mix by the wonderful SUPPORTgr0up
