Imagine two grand pianos and one drum-kit on the same stage - improvising and perverting unscrupulously the Classic, Jazz, world, Electronic genres - in front of a disconcerted but always appreciative audience. Literally Stairway in German, AUFGANG is a mutant trio composed of Francesco Tristano, Rami Khalife and Aymeric Westrich (Cassius's drummer). Those "Julliard Three" met at the prestigious NYC music school and have been touring in Europe (Sonar, Trans Musicales...) and in the States for the past three years. Recorded in 2007 in Montreal, InFine and Samurai Fm offers you a preview of their surprising live shows. InFine will release their own studio productions with "Sonar", their first EP, which carefully packages original, acoustic version and remixes (Krazy Baldhead and Spitzer) taken from and inspired by an album due for Spring 2009.
