Hugo C a.k.a SoldadoFunk a.k.a Guarda

Turntablist since 1997, spinning hiphop, funk beats and breaks, club sounds and drumnbass, adopts multiple alteregos for different sound approaches.

Everything started with first compilations in the old k7s time, mixing a little bit of everything and getting music knowledge, later the Portuguese dj scene and some trips threw Europe were a big influence and inspiration.

From the north of Portugal, he lives now in Lisbon where he keeps spinning records and making music, together with the german on-line magazine Icrates.org collaboration, where he writes about electronic music.
His most recent project is the netlabel Badroomtudio Records, where the purpose is the collective working and releasing portuguese underground, electronic and independent music.
