HOPE RECORDINGS

Bristol based Hope Recordings was established 6 years ago by Leon Alexander and Steve Satterthwaite. As well as being resident Leon ran the night Temptation at Lakota residing with the likes of Ian Wilkie, Starecase and Jody Wisternoff. After running the Lakota label both Leon & Steve decided to branch out on their own and so Hope Recordings was born. The label showcased such raw talent such as Timo Maas, Ian Wilkie and Starecase.

50 releases of quality dance music later artists that are now on the Hope Roster include Starecase, Grayarea, Capoeira Twins, Orchid and Benz & MD. The label is always searching for new production talent whether its House or breaks and still releases tracks to successful acclaim all round the globe with the focus simply on good quality electronic music.

Timo Maas' Four:twenty Recordings presents Dc10's Sorry We are Circo Loco Monday Morning Sessions, serious club music for serious clubbers.

This album mixed by residents Cirillo (italy) & Tania Vulcano (uruguay) showcases what you will be dancing to this summer. These are the tunes and the sounds that clubbers from all over the world will be remembering from their journey to the island. This double cd showcases the typical Monday Morning session you can expect to hear, quality house music of all styles be it deep, tribal, minimal, techy, vocal, electro￾chear what all the other dj￾fs want to be playing on this fantastic double cd as the new pioneers of house music show why they are hailed as hosting the best and craziest underground house parties in the world￾c￾c This August also see￾fs Timo Maas start a one month residency at DC10, with other four:twenty artist Locodice already Monday morning resident we can see a great relationship blossoming between Dc10 and Four:twenty recordings￾c..

Monday morning and as the rest of Europe gears up for work, on a certain Balearic Island a few hundred are getting down to the serious business of partying. They are professional party-goers, and there's only one place they want to go to Circoloco @ Dc10, a party that has acquired legendary status through quiet whispers and word of mouth, and yes, the rumours are true, Pete Tong and Norman Cook played here unannounced. Sara Cox calls Circoloco her favourite club, despite waking up in the car park next to John Carter. Sasha was also found outside, face down with money flying out of his pocket. And when Danny Tenaglia finishes one of his secret sets, he likes to play traffic warden, directing cars and guiding people across the bushy road on both sides. Due to the low-profiled attitude that naturally contaminates everyone - no matter how famous - who join its parties, Circoloco is a true international club. In fact, it is more international than an all - star team, and this is why it can twist the rules: rather than promoters tracing djs, it's djs who hound the promoters to play there, and the club doesn't use the name to attract the crowd because the party's reputation relies on its unique atmosphere and on the strength of its residents. Circoloco sprang into existence in 1999, when Italians Andrea Pelino and Antonio decided to throw a daytime party. The following year Cirillo and an international devoted crowd completed the team alongside residents Tania Vulcano, Fabrizio and Jo Mills. The team then called Charlie Chester to act as press-agent and to establish and maintain open the communication line with emerging international djs. Over the years, Circoloco has established itself as a solid underground, non-compromising party organisation. Its credibility comes from the fact that it is outside of the mass-media hype of most of the dance music businesses. Its chaotic and anarchic organisation is the secret of the magic of its parties. The password being 'its a mess but we know what we're doing!' wherever it goes in the world, Circoloco confirms its incredible skill to make people have fun￾cyou know who we are 'Sorry We are Circo Loco' www.recordstore.co.uk

Four:Twenty Presents James Mowbray

Four:Twenty Presents James Mowbray

"James Mowbray headlines the monthly Soundworx parties at Turnmills, which has allowed him to forge his own unique sound. Taking influences from house, techno, electro and hip hop, his sets fuse gnarly, electronic melodies and heavy, acidic basslines over hypnotic techno and house.

"The success of his residency has recently seen him play at Fabric London, Stealth Nottingham, Redlight and Le Mix in Paris, Q in Zurich and secure another residency in Estonia. Whether James is playing in front of 1,500 in Zurich or 150 in a basement in Bristol, his performances never leave the crowd wanting.

"James' first two releases on Four:Twenty with D. Ramirez, 'The Day Hip Hop Died' and 'I Choose Anger', have had plays from Pete Tong on Radio 1 and support from Laurent Garnier, Danny Howells, Timo Maas and James Holden. James' two latest tracks with his other production partner Leiam Sullivan, 'I Can (Learn To Like This)' and 'Embrace Obese Bass', are due for release later this year.

"Four:Twenty have asked James to mix their new compilation 'Music 01', due out July 10 2006. Mixed completely live using Serato Scratch Live, it's packed with exclusive tracks and remixes and reflects his unique style of DJing."
