Maher Daniel is a DJ/producer based out of Montreal, Canada and a name that you will be hearing much more of over the course of 2011 and beyond.

The name ‘Maher’ means ‘excellence’ in his native tongue and this standard is one that has been adhered to since he made his production debut on 2009’s ‘Casbar’ on Get Physical. Further releases have followed on labels such as Souvenir Music and Roots and Wings, but a gaze in to the future shows a stunning run of releases and an opportunity to share his excellence with you.

His collaboration with Matthew Dekay on Monique Special is a highlight of a sequence of four releases which has transported his name and reputation far beyond the walls of the famous Stereo Club in Montreal where he currently holds his DJ residency. Maher has recently released some excellent solo productions on a few of the world’s hottest labels, ‘Icaros’ on Rekids, ‘Open Concept’ on Souvenir and ‘3rd Time Is A Charm’on Joris Voorn’s Rejected imprint.

His residency at Stereo regularly sees Maher playing alongside the biggest names in the industry such as Lee Burridge, Clive Henry, Audiofly, Adam Beyer and Josh Wink – which befits a club regularly named in the world’s top 20. Maher has also guested at festivals such as Creamfields Abu Dhabi, Piknic Electronik and Igloo Fest and last Summer saw Maher's debut in Europe where he played at clubs such as Watergate, Bar25, Golden Gate, Cute Club Poland and Vozduh Moscow.
