Glade Festival originated from the Glade arena at Glastonbury, before becoming a festival in its own right in 2004. The festival set out to make an alternative smaller, non commercial gathering to it's presence at Glastonbury programming a resolutely underground lineup drawing on the full spectrum of electronic music.
The festival has attracted a hardcore group of fans and has enjoyed sell out events every year since its inception through retaining a limited capacity and true to it's original ethos of providing a truly authentic festival experience.
