Ink Project consist of Melanie Dymond on vocals/production and Jez Lloyd on keys and production. Latest AA single 'Rewind Forward Reply' is a precursor to their full album, set for release later this year.
Their new single 'Rewind Forward Replay' is a futuristic take on electronic soul. Adopting elements of dubstep, broken beat and garage with influences of artists such as Four Tet, Mount Kimbie and Bonobo, Melanie's introspective lyrics contrast with her sultry vocal style.
The double A single is completed by 'Black Honey', a hypnotic, downtempo track. While it would be incorrect to mention "tr*p-h*p"; the spirit of MoWax and classic Bristol acts Massive Attack, Smith & Mighty and Tricky pervades throughout.
Ink Project released their debut single 'Call On Me' on eight:FX Records in June and have since had support from DJs including Gilles Peterson and MistaJam. Recent live summer gigs have included the Sonar Festival in Barcelona, Jazz Refound Festival in Italy, Cargo and Notting Hill Arts Club in London.

Dachambo is a psychedelic and alternative band with six members featuring twin drums and Didgeridoo. They are currently a very successful drawing attention from all areas as an upcoming artist in the Japanese jam bands scene.
Dachambo handle their music management themselves and perform at many of the outdoor festivals in Japan such as Nagisa and Sunset Live in Fukuoka. One of the most important festivals that they played recently is Asia's biggest, the Fuji Rock Festival.
They love and appreciate all types of world and international music, which have been greatly influencing their music style. During this spring tour, Afrika Bambaataa stopped by Vancouver BC and sat down with Straight Goods Radio hosts Jay & Flipout to talk about Hip Hop. What would Hip Hop be without Afrika Bambaataa, one third of the holy trinity of the culture alongside Grandmaster Flash and Kool Herc? Bam with the Zulu Nation is the most influential and important organization in Hip Hop culture. Bambaataa spoke with the ease and the confidence of a tribal figure head that he is and declared that in 2010, Hip Hop is alive. I highly suggest you have a pen and pad by your side as you listen because he gives a musical history lesson from a primary source point of view. To put it simply, he was there in the beginning. Original Cultures Radio presents Deda aka Katzuma - From Inner Space promo mix
Promotional mix by legendary Italian hip hop producer Deda aka Katzuma done especially for the new Original Cultures show 'From Inner Space' which will see Katzuma compose and produce a one hour live show that traces the evolution of funk from the 70s to the early electronic mutations that started appearing in the 80s. To do this Katzuma will use a band put together especially for the occasion and nicknamed the Expanding Disco Machine. Alongside the music the show will feature visuals by Opificio Ciclope. All the music and visuals will be created in the four days prior to the showcase which will take place July 9, 2010 in Bologna.
