There are not many young people in electronic music that have had such huge successes as quickly as Florian Meindl. By the age of 21, he had already released tracks on Stil vor Talent, Resopal, Trapez, Session Deluxe and Kling Klong and started his own label Flash Recordings together with Oliver Koletzki. An early interest in DJing led to gigs in some of Austrias top clubs supporting visiting international artists. This paved the way for a still 17 year old Florian to turn his hand to production and he sent a demo to Oliver who had recently started his Stil Vor Talent label who immediately recognised the potential of the young producer and put out track on a comp that was followed by his first EP.
A move to Berlin in 2005 immersed Florian in the techno world and the never-ending Berlin party scene which contributed to the development of his sound and spurred releases on Trapez, Resopal and Session Deluxe. He could have easily stayed in the techno hub of Europe but after 3 months he made the decision to move to London to study more and improve his skills and his knowledge of the music business yet further. In late 2006 he started a label with Oliver Koletzki Flash recordings, initially as an outlet for his and Oliver's productions but later saw releases from established producers Daso, Lutzenkirchen or newcomers such as Michael Strauss.
