The Beck of the new generation is probably an over-simplified definition, but perhaps in some ways sheds light on the complex profile of Jona Bechtolt and his project Yacht: a bedlam of references to pop, electro, trash, hip hop and an unusual attention to the new media and the resources of web 2.0. Ambitious and moody, perfectionist and sarcastic, a visionary - yet always willing to pick up on the worst (or the best?) of current popular culture.
