The Deeper Soul Arkestra features IG Culture, Henrik Schwarz, and Deeper Soul label head Josh Deep, master percussionist and jazz musician Kahil El'Zabar, Ernest Dawkins, Corey Wilkes & Fareed Haque, live on one stage. A global experience with musicians from Chicago, Germany, and the UK.
Matching the brightest and most skilled producers in the dance industry, from the UK we have IG Culture, from Germany, Henrik Schwarz, and Chicago we have record producer Josh Deep alongside the skills of master Chicago jazz musicians Kahil El'Zabar, Corey Wilkes, Ernest Dawkins, and Fareed Haque, and the result is pure magic. A truly progressive statement in jazz history, working from the same energy that brought Miles Davis' legendary electric band together. Bringing together the sounds of jazz with modern funk and dance music undertones the Deeper Soul Arkestra is a pure musical experience where dance driven beats, electronic instruments, computer technology, and jazz tradition exist harmoniously in a new sound. This is deep. Imagine the sounds of Fela, Miles & Olatunji matched with the production styles of West London, Chicago, and Detroit.
Instrumentation is made up by Kahil El'Zabar on vocals and percussion, Ernest Dawkins on saxophone and percussion, Corey Wilkes on Trumpet, efx, and percussion, Fareed Haque on guitar and sitar, IG Culture on percussion, beats, vocals, and analog sythns, Henrik Schwarz on laptop Ableton Live, and Josh Deep on Fender Rhodes, MPC 2000XL.
The Deeper Soul Arkestra was debuted in Bordeaux France in November 2005 to critical acclaim. Recent shows in Chicago and a studio session will result in a forthcoming album by the group.

IG Culture is one of the most notable producers responsible for the wealth of material that has emanated from West London under the tag broken beat. As founding member and main-man of West London's broken beat collective, as N S M, Quango and LikwidBiskit, IG Culture continues to drop bombs via his own record label Main Squeeze and People Records plus remixing for many other labels.
HENRIK SCHWARZ
Henrik, the shooting star of deep-house-notdeep-house, has in the last years produced and remixed many hit records for the more discerning dance crowd. Starting on Moodmusic Records seminal 'Supravision' and 'Chicago' releases in 2002 and 2003 respectively, he continues the quest with remixes for Ubiquity, Classic, Compost, Freerange, Soma, Deeper Soul, as well as releases for SUNDAY-MUSIC, Moodmusic, DnP, Zeppelin etc.
