Black Van is the coming together of two respected electronic producers - Kris Menace & KoweSix (one half of Moonbootica). The Black Van project takes their shared love of early electronica and disco to the next level by exploring the possibilities of analogue perfection and introducing classic songwriting from some of the best indie vocalists from USA and Europe.
Kris is known for his anthemic singles such as ‘Discopolis’ and his collaborations with Fred Falke, Felix Da Housecat and Alan Braxe as well as his latest ‘Idiosyncracies’ album. And KoweSix, whose visage currently graces the poster campaign for Silke Wilhelm I’s Eau de Parfum “Embrace“, has been a dark horse on the electronic race course as one half of the dynamic duo known as Moonbootica.
The Black Van is fueled up and the satnav is set for the heart of the sun. The first single ‘Yearning’ (released in February from DFA) is just the start of the journey; details of the full album and collaborators coming soon.
