Sheffield Steel City is known throughout the galaxy as the birthplace of electronic music. The Human League, Cabaret Voltaire and Warp were all spawned here, all turned on by twisting machines to make a noise as beautiful and riotous as any warm blooded entity. Its fitting then that David Bozzwell lurks here, tinkering away in his bunker, concocting electronic music with a heart and a sly, northern glint in its eye.
Previously part of the illustrious All Seeing I, he is now the captain of Hiem, a band responsible for beaming in perfect slices of futuristic pop and causing summat of a lather in the more switched on and dirtier parts of the underground and the the more cooler pages of the music press ,this rebel has worked with everyone from Phil Oakey to Jarvis Cocker to Chris Sharrock and many other Pop and Dance Heavy Hitters,When not creating anthemic robot music and making music for cutting edge label's ,Bozzwell is a night time mover, a supreme decktechinian who takes the dancefloor by the scruff of the neck and transforms it into pure euphoria.
