May we introduce to you Matt Welch and Terry Ryan a.k.a. Atomic Hooligan.
The standard setting and boundary pushing DJ and producer duo have long hit the breaks world firmly between the eyes with quality 12'' after 12''.
Their music is always informed by the ever more popular breaks movement, but never pinned down by it. Proof of this can be found on their two albums and in their 9 piece live band show that has already rocked many a dance floor.
But it's not just their album that is shooting the Hooligan lads stratospheric this year!
They have done remixes that have included that of Cowgirl and Born Slippy for Underworld, and their rework of Lee Coombs & Andy (Plump dj's) Gardener - Obsessional Rhythm.
As well as this they joined that very elite club by appearing on the front Cover of DJ Mag. With interviews and mix's on XFM and BBC Radio 1 already under their belt in 2005.
Between the busy live show schedules, they have managed to fit in DJ dates in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, France, The States and the UK. No wonder they were voted in the top 10 breaks DJ's in the world.
Their benchmark breaks album 'You Are Here' gained lots of support from press and radio. And because countless amounts of top names asked to remix tracks from the album, The Hooligans chose their favourite ones and put them together on a new album 'You Are Here -The Remixes'.
This new album is groundbreaking, with the two spin off Singles - 'Wait till your sleeping' (Aquasky Remix) and Hey Gravity 'Inside Out' (Atomic Hooligan Remix) receiving rave reviews:
