Still only in his 20's, Benji B has established himself as one of the major players in the worlds underground progressive music scene. Equally revered for his radio show DEVIATION on BBC 1XTRA and his role as a premier international deejay, Benji B is an unbound force whose signature style seamlessly connects the most cutting edge tunes from a diverse range of genres by their collective, soulful essence. Having started out as a 16 year old at KISS FM during its golden era, he went on to being the youngest BBC producer ever, developing the perennial WORLDWIDE program with Gilles Peterson, producing sonic documentaries and ruling the airwaves/internet for the past four years with the aforementioned cutting edge, pirate-radio-esque show DEVIATION.
As Deviation's listernership has grown, so has Benji's reputation as a DJ, and he has spent the last few years playing records across the world from Tokyo to New York, Rio to Berlin. He was provided hugely memorable sets at Southport Soul Weekender, The Miami Winter Music Conference, The Big Chill and more. His clubs sets take in the same diverse range of music that makes up his radio show, so expect hip hop, jazz, soul, house, Detroit techno, broken beats and more.
