Faia was born in 1982 in a small town in the northwest of Norway. Her passion for electronic music started in the late 80's-early 90's. She never got tired of electronic music and after many years of clubbing she began to get curious about DJing, so she started to spin records in february 2009. It didn't take long before she was ready to play at techno-clubs in Oslo. Her style is mainly tech-house, deep house, minimal and techno.

With her techy and funky sound she already had gigs at The Villa (Voted number 54 in DJ MAGAZINE top 100 clubs in the world!!), Fugazi (Nominated best club 2010 in Natt&Dag magazine), Fisk og Vilt, Café Kaos, Hausmania, Primal Behavior, Sikamikanico, Club Latter, The Sense, Skansen, GrooveYard and Chateau. She has played alongside DJs as OXIA, Ida Engberg, Lottie, Matthias Meyer and Danny Rampling. She was also promoter and DJ at Sommerøya Elektronika festival in Oslo, Norway.
Faia and her partner Tina V is known as "Femmes Fatales", they play at different clubs in Oslo every other month, the dj-duo also have their own nights called "Girls Got Rhythm". They book female guest DJs to their clubnights.
She is now in the rooster of Small Management, with over 60 other Djs, Live act djs and producers. http://smallmanagement.com/

«No Dial Tone» has sent her mix-tapes on RadiOrakel (FM 99.3 Mhz) several times, and she played live on Pitchradio.com from the Sommerøya festival 2010.
She had a weekly show with the Femmes Fatales concept on www.pitchradio.com in 2010-2011, where Faia, Tina V and Marianne sent new mixtapes every Thursday from 8PM-9PM (CET), and with female guest djs only. First show was Thursday 4th November 2010 and the last was 29th December 2011.
Essence of Sound radio at www.eos.fm sent her podcast every 4th Thursday of the month at 5PM (CET) in 2011.
She has also made exclusive mix for AvanCee FM at Radio Volum and Radio Sør FM 98,6 MHz in January 2012.
