Considered an early pioneer of dark garage and dubstep it may come as a surprise to hear this infectious set of salsa rhythms, Latin merengue and traditional Colombian music known as Cumbia.
How’S My Raving? Weekender! Featuring two days of extremely hard beats and bass, the HMR? Weekender takes place on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd May at the Big Chill Bar (Brick Lane) and Big Chill House (Kings Cross) respectively.
El-B will be featuring alongside DJ Stingray, Daniel Haaksman, Gongon and the How's My Raving? VIP Crew on the Saturday.

Barana is a Turkish - Dutch world-jazz group. http://barana.nl/ I mixed here a combination of acoustic and electronic music made or inspired by the musicians with strong ethnic consciousness. Be it shangaan electro, juke or Bollywood, I was digging for musical gems with a REAL feeling of the roots. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed playing it.

Noise in the Ether returns, revamped and revitalised, for its seventh edition, as musical globetrotters and time-travellers Chris and Joseph continue to chat and dance their way across the continents and through the decades, from the streets of rural Burundi in the seventies to the forest hinterlands of modern-day America, via Tuva, India, Chicago, New York and San Francisco. All the while, the moody drones and heady sounds of Taj Mahal Travellers accompanied our duo as they pondered the magic and music of Noise In the Ether. Enjoy!
