Original Cultures
Original Cultures is a non-profit project that aims to facilitate and promote cultural exchange between cultures through modern performing arts. At its simplest the project is about allowing artists to visit each other's countries, collaborate and exchange with each other through their art, be it music making or painting. This exchange is documented in every form and released for free on the internet to create a permanent record for anyone to see/hear and be inspired. The project was born in late 2008 and was launched in early 2009 linking England, Italy and Japan. Current artists involved in the project include musicians/producers 2tall / Om Unit (UK), Tayone (IT), Tatsuki (JP), Goth Trad (JP) as well as visual artists Will Baras (UK), DEM (IT) and Erica il Cane (IT).

Each month Original Cultures radio will showcase one of the artists involved in the project with an exclusive mix of their own music as well as the stuff that inspires them. The show will also feature exclusive recordings from the Original Cultures events.

Original Cultures Radio presents Deda aka Katzuma - From Inner Space promo mix

Promotional mix by legendary Italian hip hop producer Deda aka Katzuma done especially for the new Original Cultures show 'From Inner Space' which will see Katzuma compose and produce a one hour live show that traces the evolution of funk from the 70s to the early electronic mutations that started appearing in the 80s. To do this Katzuma will use a band put together especially for the occasion and nicknamed the Expanding Disco Machine. Alongside the music the show will feature visuals by Opificio Ciclope. All the music and visuals will be created in the four days prior to the showcase which will take place July 9, 2010 in Bologna.

'From Inner Space' will take place on July 9, in Bologna, Italy and feature music by Katzuma and the Expanding Disco Machine and visuals by Opificio Ciclope. The one hour show will be written and composed in the four days prior to the show and will be an exclusive audio/visual showcase commissioned for Original Cultures.
