Founded in Tokyo and now based in Berlin in just a few years Laboratory Instinct has become a well respected electronic music label responsible for releasing works from top artists from all over the world. A continual focus on the music, the production and the design have given the label a reputation for it's constant stream of quality releases with the deep musical appreciation of the two founders Miho and Ryo the driving force behind the organisation.
Releasing albums from Roman Flugel, Daedelus, Atom and Erast as well as a popular compilation series, the label looks set to grow even more in 2006 with an upcoming release from A Guy Called Gerald.
Laboratory Instinct has been involved in events since the early days in Japan and this continues to this day with local events in Berlin showcasing locals such as Gerald, Sleeparchive and Perlon and a tour of Japan with Roman Flugel planned for later in 2006
Here they start their new regular show on samurai.fm with exclusive recordings of Daedelus, V.L.A.D. and Lyo 25 (Ryo), a taste of the sounds of the label and a taste of what to expect in their upcoming shows.
