DUBSTRAKT is :
"DUBSTRAKT" sounds emerge from the multifarious noise elements produced by this powerful and atmospheric city. The DJ performance mirrors these repetitive rhythms and dubbed-out breaks to form a hypnotic music from the city's underground, which are also evocative of contemporary dusty urban　funk music fusing tribal, oriental, and unreal-hiphop beats and warping into　a past-present-future hyper-reality.

_the JAZZ STYLE, an improvised flow of avant-garde waves forming and reforming with inherent intuition, and above this the DUB STYLE, vibrating in the space and echoing and reverberation doing and changing shape unlimited in the style. Call it DubabovejazZ.


$_DJ CLOUD
Born and bread in TOKYO's shibuya district, CLOUD has been spinning at various events/clubs/bars in the city. His performances offer a unique collage of sounds mixing BEATS, Urban Funk, Freeform Dub, Galactro...etc... with vinyl scratching, transista radio and other instruments, bringing it together in what he calls "DUBSTRAKT".

....a unit of the unit-master KINKA(sound channel) and NORI(dubstrakt). acca, with Greek meaning of water surface, the water aims toward the expression of the contrast which was called to theme quiet and motion, the shade and positive. acca has released their 1st work "minamo" from O-Parts Recordings in 2002 May. and the 2nd work "Haze", it has shown the minimal like the early Chicago house, also emphasized the gravity-lowness of the rhythm on the dance revolution....

in 1997, He started to organize self performing gigs such as “SL9” & “Underdog” along with Japan’s most superb artists like DJ, who belongs to various field of music from hip hop, rock, techno and abstract music. Human desire is Limited but not restricted to choose a way to express one’s passion in many ways. Anything he touches turns gold. It’s just a matter of slight chance to encounter in perpetuation of time being. Currently he is on new project under the name of “Shapeless” and soon to be drop titled.
