London and Stockholm-based duo Dadahack release TAP3, a full-length debut that attempts to transcend both genre and medium.

In support of this fantastic new album Dadahack supply us with a 50 minute journey through twisted electronica and sublime techno. We are big fans of both the mix and new album and urge you to take the time to investigate both.

The album is as much a musical effort as it is a playful comment on technological advancement. In addition to being available for digital download, TAP3 is, as its name suggests, a cassette tape, but by no means a normal one – it also functions as a digital music player, so listeners can simply plug in their headphones and hear the album. This unusual presentation is meant to both embrace and reject the digital era, harking back to a time when music was confined to a physical existence within a hand-held product.

TAP3 is the duo's first full-length to date, following up their Hellos EP from last year. Prior to cutting their teeth as electronic artists, Dadahack did studio work for a number of big names in pop and rock, including U2, New Order, Wiley and Bloc Party.
