Los Hermanos Presents Conexion
Los Hermanos

Detroit's Los Hermanos began as a side project of Underground Resistance and has grown into its own collective of musicians and DJs. In 2005 they released the debut album "On Another Level", performed an impressive series of live shows throughout Japan and Europe, and quickly gained a reputation for creating music with soulful power. The core crew combines the talents of Gerald Mitchell, Esteban Adame, Santiago Salazar and Dan 'DJ Dex' Caballero. 2 skilled keyboard players and 2 skilled DJs combine to form 4 producers that have made a powerful impact on the global electronic music scene.

Los Hermanos unique combination of techno and house has been heard in the sets of DJs like Carl Craig, Fabrice Lig, Josh Wink, Jerome Sydenham, Joe Claussell, Claude Young and many more.

Santiago Salazar aka DJ S2

Santiago Salazar started Djing in 1992. His interest in Djing sparked by mixtapes his brother was bringing back from the underground scene in Los Angeles. In 2002, he moved to Southwest Detroit and began Djing and producing for Underground Resistance and Los Hermanos. Santiago has mixed and edited several UR 12 inches and was the featured Los Hermanos remixer on "Return Of The Dragons" - an incredible remix that was played by everyone from Ben Sims to Pete Tong.

Santiago has been busy the past year releasing the "Slide EP" under the name Seldom Seen, the 'Papa Slide' 7 inch single, a Los Hermanos 7 inch single with a track called 'Tzolkin', and most recently featured on the new Interstellar Fugitives 2 album with 4 tracks featured on the CD and LP.

DJ Dex aka Nomadico

DJ Dex aka Nomadico has worked hard in the studio, mixing, editing and producing tracks for Underground Resistance and Los Hermanos. His talents behind the turntables have taken him throughout Japan, Europe and South America as a tour DJ and member of UR's Timeline band.

In 2004, Dex debuted his first solo release for Motech Records, the "El Camino EP" and followed that up with a 7 inch single on UR under his Nomadico project and a 7 inch single for Los Hermanos with a track called 'Kawak'. He has contributed 2 tracks to the new Interstellar Fugitives 2 album and will be releasing a double mix CD for Japan featuring his own unreleased music. His music has caught the ears of DJs like Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Mark Broom, Suburban Knight, Juan Atkins, Andre Juliani, Dan Curtin and more.
