The BreakFastaz are a nu-skool breaks collective from West London consisting of three members. They have been working together on a number of musical projects for several years and the wide ranging influences they collectively bring has helped to form their unique breakbeat sound. On top of their production and engineering knowledge, the BreakFastaz are also skilled in a variety of musical instruments and this musical side to the group can be seen through their combination of driving beats with infectious synth lines and melodies.
After a string of successful releases, their tracks have received heavy rotation from The Freestylers, Aquasky, DJ Quest and Tayo, even catching the ear of house DJ, Seb Fontaine. In the 2004 International Breakbeat Awards they received a nomination for Best Newcomer displaying the impact they have made on the breaks scene. This year sees a string of releases from the BreakFastaz on Cyberfunk, Passenger and Mob as well as remixes for The Freestylers, Aquasky, The Autobots and Distortionz.
