Emilee started dj'ing in Cleveland, Ohio in 1997. She played in bars and clubs in Ohio and Florida before relocating to Tokyo, Japan in 2001. There, she developed an eclectic sound, combining elements of downtempo, broken beat, house, hip hop, soul, and reggae. Extensive travels through Asia and the Indian subcontinent diversified her sound and musical understanding.
Emilee has played at some of the larger Tokyo venues, including Yellow, Club Asia, Secobar, Milk, La Fabrique, & Shibuya Nuts. She held residencies at Vivian @ Nuts, Traffic @ Secobar, and Blanco @ Aoyuzu.
Emilee now resides in New York. She has dj'ed at Triple Crown in Williamsburg, Halcyon in Brooklyn and the Xpo in Dumbo. Her bi-monthly internet radio show, Diversions, can be heard at samurai.fm
