Distincshun are two DJ's who have rediscovered their love for Jazz Funk and Soul music. We spent our youth travelling all over London with our mobile sound system playing the music we love. Having been brought up listening to legends like Robbie Vincent and Greg Edwards, Norman Jay, we lost our way after taking up family life. But the passion that is SOUL MUSIC never ever died, and was always burning deep down inside. It was just a matter of time before it began to boil and bubble all the way back to the top and we dusted off the cobwebs from our record collection, bought a Mac, downloaded i-Tunes and away we went back on the circuit. This time round we chose the radio to share our music with like minded followers of black soul music and landed at JFSR. One year later and we are going strong, building up a significant following for our shows. Earlier in the year we teamed up with the legendary Greg Edwards from Capital FM's "The Soul Spectrum" and started a monthly soul night called Behind The Groove, which has gone from strength to strength each month.
