Timo has seen everything. He has walked down the most dangerous roads. He has been courted by the star system (discs for majors, collaborations with Kelis and Brian Molko, sound tracks for video games), he has been called on many times to be the resident techno-house DJ for applauding masses, and has risked, several times, being tarred with the wrong brush. Timo Maas is, first and foremost, a great DJ. Having said that, he is a person who truly loves music. He has had the ability to create sets and dancefloor anthems so madly moving as to want throw them into the cheap and triumphal mainstream. But Timo is cut from a different cloth. He is a wizard of taste, holding the balance between tightly shut rhythms and airy openings. Timo is Timo. Luckily.
