I am really excited about this week's episode...

Fresh off the back of creating the visuals for Tommy Four Seven's release "G" which is one of the most visually appropriate and stunning videos i have seen in a long long time I introduce to you...The Automatic Message.

The Automatic Message is an ongoing audiovisual project between Trevor Jacobson (techno producer, film editor) and Tanya Goehring (photographer, cinematographer, film editor).

Mixing photography, film and sound together, they create slightly off-kilter techno, perform live audiovisual sets and produce music videos. The Automatic Message is currently working with such labels as From 0-1, Kalimari Musique, Monsieur Musique and have most recently become a member of Berlin's UNOIKI collective. They also have tracks out on Pilbus Records, Bleepsequence and SETA.

They have performed live at several festivals and events around the Pacific Northwest, including the New Forms Festival, Photosynthesis, SWARM, and The Drift Festival. They have also created several concept-driven projects for event such as Fake Jazz and the Signal & Noise Festival.

The first half of this mix is a darkly beautiful arrangement of minimal noises and bass. The 2nd half is full of monster beats and bangs.
