Glade Festival June 2011
As Galde announce their new site we present you with two hot new sets from Subhead and ANXST who will both be appearing on the Overkill Stage at the 3 day festival in June.
Glade can confirm the new site for 2011’s event will be Houghton Hall in Norfolk. Last week the trustees of Mansion House, Biggleswade decided they did not want the event to take place on their site, despite contracts being signed off. Luckily Lord Cholmondeley who owns the estate at Houghton Hall and the surrounding estate has welcomed Glade and this is where the event will take place in 2011 and for the foreseeable future.
Subhead
Shrugging off self-promotion and magazine coverage has only added to Subhead’s anonymity while intense live-performances have built devoted followings from across the globe.
“Underground and as tough and loud as Leach and Wells are known, Subhead‘s art attack breaks the dancefloor standards with everything between sampladelic freestyle and raucous bottomline Techno. Unbelievable while totally understandable.” Tresor Berlin
Subhead will be performing live on the Overkill Stage.
ANXST
ANXST’s genre transcending dexterity takes in the experimental dubstep trip of Vex’d, industrial techno of Surgeon, the future glitch of Flying Lotus and the scattered experimental drum and bass of Amon Tobin. His true strength, though, lies in the crescendos of layered texture, noise and re-sampled sampling.
ANXST will be performing on the Overkill Stage

Sick Moves Radio | Dj Romanowski live in San Francisco 7.24.10
DJ Romanowski は、'90年代に DJ Shadow や Cut Chemist、そしてかの Future Primitive などとアツいパフォーマンスを共にしたサンフランシスコの生きる伝説だ。彼は実に多様性に富んだDJであり、そのルーツはファンク、ディスコ、レゲェ、ヒップホップに見られ、彼のプロダクションは世界中で称賛を受けて来た。彼の 'Party in My Pants' そして Walter Earl (Royal Earlの名で参加)、地元のMC Deuce Eclipse とO.P.C. プロジェクトのP.E.A.C.E. をフューチャした最近のアルバムからは、ベイエリアのアンダーグラウンド・ヒップホップ＆ファンク・ムーブメントをプッシュしたいと言う彼の意気込みが伺える。そんな DJ Romanowski が去る７月にSFの Madrone Lounge で披露したライブセット、是非エンジョイして頂きたい。

野崎良太が率いる特定のメンバーを持たない自由なスタイルのプロジェクト名のことである。
1998年より、インディーズのフラワーレコーズより 2枚のアルバム 2枚のミニアルバムをリリース。
2001年イギリスのレーベル"Counterpoint"よりアルバム"Inner Flight"をリリース。
これまでにプロデューサーとして、Mondo Grosso、葉加瀬太郎、bebe、Sandii、唐沢美帆、ゴスペラーズ等、数多くのアーティストの楽曲提供、編曲を行う。
また、リミキサーとしても、bird、m-flo、modaji、London Elektricity(a.k.a.IZIT)、福富幸宏、中島美嘉、などの作品を手掛けている。
2003年4月に発売したアルバム"Set Free"(フラワーレコーズ)に間髪空けずに、6月にミニアルバム"Horizon"を発売し、7月に行われた渋谷クアトロ、心斎橋クアトロのワンマンLiveでは、14名編成にてその音楽性を見せつけた。

So Called Records（以下、The SCR）を表現するならば、いわゆる音楽レーベルのようなたたずまいというよりは、良い意味でのご都合主義的で流動的なプロジェクトと言えるだろう。というのも、意図的に短命的であり、アイデンティティーを確立することを拒む（どのくらい異なったプロジェクトがThe SCRを取り巻くことが出来るのか？ というの隠された野望はあるにせよ）。さまざまなメンバーが集う、多くのグループや組織がもつその性質とは、まったく異なるものを持っている。よって、そのアイデンティティーのすべてはプロジェクト（またはコラボレーターたち）にかかり、The SCRはそんな特殊な瞬間をとりまとめているのだ。いまのところ、プロジェクトがもつ安定した要素は、その名前にある。
