Their mixing is totally unpredictable and double the dance power. The happy accident of Hidekick and Dai first happened in 1999 when they each wanted to produce tracks for use in their DJ sets. Now, as Bluewater, they play the tracks out simultaneously using 2 decks, 2 cdjs, 2 F/X, 4 hands, and as many feet as the dancefloor can hold!.

They have worked in Tokyo with such big name artists as X-Press2, Smith & Mighty, and Chris Carter. UK breaks heavyweight Rennie Pilgrem used their track "The Air" in London on his label, Thursday Club Recordings.

Bluewater also organise an event called Deck'N'Effect in Shibuya in Tokyo every 4th Saturday and play music such as Breaks, Electro and deep down dirty house music.
