Here are the sad cyborg last memories. Here lies his last memories, in a memory card at the very last volcano foothill:

As his remembering last dance started, his nuclear heart beated @ 92Ghz while he was prospecting the birth of cold stars.

Before the middle of his journey, his heart got carried away, started to beat @127Ghz and his last dance turned into a rush into wasted lavafields. As he entered the volcano, his breath exhaled bouncing nanomachines, extirping his life in a tender way.

As he died, he could say his love of music makes him more human than most of the humanity, which was -in those times- constantly carrying things from one part of the universe to another.

His first adventures as a musical producer began in 2003, making progressive house. Three years after, he released his first official remixes through American labels.
In 2009, Diego abandoned house in order to approach more experimental styles such as glitch/IDM, minimal techno, techno and ambient music. He began to sign his productions as “Defective Moniker” and, under this signature, he won, in 2010, a remix contest for “Samba de Velho” track, by DJ Ilan Kriger - a version of the famous “Mas Que Nada” song.
On the following year, he spent some time in Berlin and, inspired by the Berliner experimentalism of its underground scene, he started Projekt Gestalten.
The name means “construction project” in loose translation from German. This refers to the many multimedia platforms used by Diego (audio, design, photography, video, etc) which, although different, are integral parts of a same constructive project. Through that perspective, Projekt Gestalten also makes an allusion to the gestalt psychology, which states, as its basic principle, that "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts" - a concept studied by Diego while he was still in the Design school.
In 2011, he released, by underground label Tranzmitter, his debut album entitled “Absence” - with experimental pieces ranging from ambient and glitch to minimal techno. In 48 hours of release, the album was downloaded a thousand times already. Diego also collaborated with an original track for the compilation of the label’s fifth anniversary.
Nowadays, Diego dedicates himself to his live act, where he does mash-ups and remixing on the fly of his songs combined with jazz, blues, techno, house, trip-hop and a multitude of other different styles that helped to shape his musical perception. He intents, very soon, to relocate to Berlin to learn the German language and initiate his Masters in Visual Arts.
